Before Buttercamp really gets off to a start, Brett, Ben, Henrik and I got together to discuss tomorrow’s event, the future of Butter, and some other Mozilla Foundation projects. Eyebeam Art + Technology Center was gracious enough to lend us some space and a desk to talk and work.

Certainly more interesting though, is the accommodations Brett picked out for us this weekend, at the recommendation of Henrick. I just thought I would show off these unique dwelling quarters.

This picture doesn’t do it a whole lot of justice, but there really wasn’t a whole lot more room to stand to take the picture. Basically, what you see is me, on a bed, next to a mirror, which is no doubt situated on that wall to add the effect of spaciousness. That’s the whole room.

And I love it! So much about this cute, compact little room and its beautifully selectively-modernized hotel, The Jane is alluring and intriguing. It could be that I heard the people who boarded the titanic in New York on their way across the Atlantic stayed here. Judging from the decor, that might not be so inaccurate.
